Questions We Get a Lot
A hardtop gazebo features a solid galvanized steel or metal roof that provides full overhead protection from rain, sun, and wind, making it a true year-round structure. A pergola uses a slatted or open trellis roof that offers partial shade while keeping an open, airy feel. If you're looking for complete weather coverage for your patio gatherings, a hardtop gazebo is the stronger choice.
Our hardtop gazebos are designed as kit structures with straightforward assembly, and many of our customers set them up over a weekend with a helper or two. Each unit includes the necessary hardware, and the aluminum frames are built to connect without specialized tools. If you run into any questions during setup, our team is happy to help walk you through it.
Our hardtop gazebos are built with galvanized steel roofs and reinforced aluminum frames specifically to handle the demands of year-round outdoor use. Features like flame-resistant curtains and heavy-duty construction add an extra layer of durability for unpredictable weather. That said, we always recommend following the manufacturer guidelines for your specific climate and anchoring the structure to a solid surface for best results.
We offer free shipping on most orders within the Continental U.S., though orders to Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. If you need to make a return, our 30-Day Return policy applies, so you have a full month from delivery to evaluate your purchase. Please review our Return Policy page for full details on the return process and eligibility.
